Happiness is Herringbone

Happiness is Herringbone

Herringbone fabric has a very distinctive V shape with a break in the reversal, making it look like a broken zig zag. It has been called Herringbone, as it resembles the skeleton of a herring.

Pieces of Herringbone have been found in the mummified remains of Celtic people dating from 600 BC. Recently, a piece of Herringbone was discovered dating from 3 million BC. The Turin Shroud is in fact in a herringbone pattern. My cashmere Herringbone is far softer and more wearable than the Turin Shroud..
