A November Sunrise Over Pollença Bay
There is something magical about the stillness of an early November morning. When the world feels wrapped in a blanket of quiet, and the sky begins its gentle unveiling over the sea.
This weekend, I found myself perched on a familiar spot overlooking Pollença’s bay with my boys, sipping hot chocolate.
We had risen before dawn—an achievement !—but it was worth every sleepy yawn.
The sky slowly turned from inky black to deep, velvety blue, and we watched as streaks of pink, orange, and gold began to fan across the horizon over the bay.
As we sat there, warm mugs cradled in our hands, the boys whispered excitedly about being the first to see the day,
The water was still, a mirror reflecting the changing sky, while the surrounding mountains stood quietly in shadows.
Soon, the sun crested the horizon, and its light spilled out across the bay, setting everything aglow.
As we packed up to leave, the boys chattered about the wonders of the sunrise & now the bacon and eggs at home.
I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the simple pleasure of sharing that morning with them and now the thoughts of a warm bath.
